Jay Zhi-Jian Li was born in Guangzhou, China and graduated from the Fine Art Academy of Guangzhou. From 1985-1989 he taught at the Fine Art College of Canton.  From 1989 -1998, Jay traveled around Europe and Australia to study and developed his oil painting skills. His works have been exhibited and collected in several countries.  In 1998 jay moved to Canada and now he resides in Ottawa.
